These poems are directed at YOU. A genocide is being conducted in Palestine -- the murder of tens of thousands of innocent civilians, doctors, journalists, poets, men, women, and children. What pressures can we apply to Israel to stop this mass murder which is making all of the world less safe? NOT IN MY NAME. "Regarding their pain" is published in Issue #5 of the Madrid Review. The poems also generated a wheatpaste project. Installed on a busy section of Bloor Street in Toronto, just around the corner from the Israeli Consulate, they attracted enough attention for those who felt threatened to attempt to remove them.
